The Trump administration launched the Platinum Plan in September to “uplift Black communities” through half-trillion dollars of public and private sector investments.

→ Increase access to capital in Black communities by almost $500 Billion
→ Safe urban neighborhoods with highest policing standards
→ Commit to working on a Second Step Act for prison reform
→ Access to better education and job training opportunities
→ Black churches the ability to compete for federal resources for their communities
→ Bring better and tailored healthcare to address historic disparities
→ Immigration policy that protects American jobs

Rapper Lil Wayne, whose real name is Dwayne Michael Carter Jr., took a photo with Mr. Trump after discussing the Platinum Plan and posted this statement with the photo on social media…
“Just had a great meeting with @[email protected] besides what he’s done so far with criminal reform, the platinum plan is going to give the community real ownership. He listened to what we had to say today and assured he will and can get it done,” said Lil Wayne.
Included in the financials of Platinum Plan are $20 Billion to broadband/internet access and telehealth; support for Black farmers and improvements in access to higher-nutrition foods; and $40 billion in government funding for comprehensive measures in black community financial institutions.
The infrastructural designs are school choice and the dissolution of failing schools, childcare tax credits, offering of benefits for opportunity zone local hires, and an overhaul of healthcare with a focus on market transparency and individual choice.
Safety and justice measures include the weighing of treatment over incarceration for drug offenses, a clemency program for demonstrably reformed individuals, augmentation of policing models to include mental health advocacy as well as input from community leaders.
The plan highlights the impulse towards individual dignity, achievement, and accomplishment. Such measures on this are exploring possibilities for the building of credit for good utility payment records. Grants for microlending were included in the plan as well.
Most notably, the plan includes an as-yet-unspecified proviso to create a national database for police misconduct to reduce errant hiring.
Additionally, the plan calls for federal prosecution of both the KKK and Antifa.
Juneteenth, which marks June 19th of 1865 when a Union general codified into state records the federal order that slavery had been repealed, will also be a national holiday.
Trump’s four Pillars of the Platinum Plan include…
→ Opportunity: By achieving historic employment levels for Black Americans, as well as increasing access to capital for new businesses, President Trump has been committed to ensuring all Black Americans can achieve the American Dream.
→ Security: By signing into law the celebrated First Step Act, President Trump has brought common sense criminal justice reform to the American people for the first time in decades, while ensuring that our streets and communities are safe for families and business owners.
→ Prosperity: As the first President to provide long-term funding to Historically Black Colleges and Universities, this Administration continues to seek immediate and generational advancement for Black Americans.
→ Fairness: As demonstrated through his actions to initiate investment into Opportunity Zones, as well as address health disparities, wage gaps and necessary education reforms, President Trump works every day to advance a fair and just America for the Black Community.
