LANSING, Mich. (Great Lakes News) – An aide tasked with rolling out the vaccine for Gov. Gretchen Whitmer spent her spring break in Florida while her high school son stayed home recovering from COVID-19 .

According to Facebook screenshots and comments obtained by Breitbart News, Tricia Foster traveled to the Florida Keys where she posted several photos of her family on social media.

In the comments, one friend asked Foster about her son, and she responded, “[he’s] home with covid [coronavirus].”

Last week, just days before Foster’s alleged trip to Florida, her boss Gov. Whitmer urged Michiganders to avoid spring break trips to Florida and also suggested they all be tested when they return home.

Earlier today, Gov. Whitmer asked schools and high school sports teams to voluntarily move to remote learning for the next two weeks and cancel practices and games. Whitmer also asked Michiganders to abstain from dining indoors at restaurants. The embattled industry is still under a 50 percent indoors capacity mandate which Whitmer quietly extended last month.

Whitmer also strongly suggested that residents to stop indoor gatherings with friends for the next two weeks.
