Yesterday, we reported that the rapper Nicki Minaj had revealed to the world that she is unvaccinated against COVID-19 because she has serious concerns about the vaccine. Now, Dr. Anthony Fauci is firing back at her by accusing her of spreading misinformation about the vaccine.

Minaj revealed earlier this week that she would not be attending the Met gala due to the vaccination requirement and then claimed that she heard from a cousin who declined to be vaccinated “cuz his friend got it & became impotent.”

“The answer to that is a resounding no,” Fauci said of Minaj’s claim while appearing on CNN. “There is no evidence that it happens, nor is there any mechanistic reason to imagine that it would happen. So the answer to your question is no.”

“It’s very difficult,” he added. “There is a lot of misinformation, mostly on social media, and the only way we know to counter mis- and disinformation is to provide a lot of correct information and to essentially debunk these kinds of claims, which may be innocent on her part — I’m not blaming her for anything — but she should be thinking twice about propagating information that really has no basis as except a one-off anecdote, and that’s not what science is all about.”

This came after Minaj took to Twitter to reveal that she is skeptical of the vaccine.

“If I get vaccinated it won’t for the Met,” Minaj tweeted. “It’ll be once I feel I’ve done enough research. I’m working on that now. In the meantime my loves, be safe. Wear the mask with 2 strings that grips your head & face. Not that loose one.”

Minaj then explained that she has a “cousin in Trinidad” who is refusing to take the vaccine because a friend of his claimed “his testicles became swollen” and “became impotent” as a result of getting the shot, causing his fiancé to cancel their wedding.

“So just pray on it & make sure you’re comfortable with ur decision, not bullied,” Minaj continued.

Minaj later added in a separate tweet, “A lot of countries won’t let ppl work w/o the vaccine. I’d def recommend they get the vaccine. They have to feed their families. I’m sure I’ll b vaccinated as well cuz I have to go on tour, etc.”

The left is trying to shame Minaj as much as humanly possible for daring to have her own opinion about the COVID-19 vaccine. She has every right to be skeptical of the vaccine and to make her own decision regarding whether or not to get this shot.
