In one of the oddest twists in recent history, both radical leftists and conservatives agree on something: Fauci should resign.
PETA recently stated “Our position is clear. All those in leadership at NIH, including Fauci, should resign”

While conservatives mainly believe that Fauci should resign due to funding gain-of-function research and lying before Congress about it, Peta is upset about animal experimentation being conducted with taxpayer money. However, this is not to knock PETA, in this instance they are also right.
A bombshell report from White Coat Waste Project detailed how Fauci’s NIH division sent $1.68 million in taxpayer funds to Tunisia for beagle experimentation. To say that the beagles were “experimented on” would be an understatement, the animals were tortured in barbaric fashion.
Forty-four beagles between the ages of six and eight months were used for the experiment. Prior to the experimentation beginning, the beagles underwent a cordectomy, also known as devocalization.
During a cordectomy, the dog’s vocal cords are slit to prevent them from making any noise. How do we know that the beagles underwent a cordectomy? Well, there was an invoice to the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases (NIAID) from the Tunisia lab.
It’s hard to imagine any American taxpayer that is happy about being billed for such a procedure, let alone a member of PETA. Unfortunately, this was just the beginning of the diabolical treatment conducted on these dogs.
After the beagles were devocalized, the beagles’ heads were placed in cages filled with sandflies. The animals were left in this condition until they were eaten alive for “research purposes”.
The experimentation conducted on beagles was so horrific that it generated bipartisan outrage even at the congressional level. Rep. Nancy Mace (R-S.C.) wrote a letter to the NIH demanding answers for this “cruel…reprehensible misuse of taxpayer funds”. The letter was signed by republicans and a surprising number of democrats.
One can only hope that more organizations, even misguided ones like PETA, wake up to the depravity of U.S. institutions, like the NIH, and call for Fauci’s resignation.
