A rough security camera video captured the unprovoked shooting of two Los Angeles Sheriff’s deputies. The ambush took place on Saturday, September 12th, around 7:00pm outside of the Blue Line Metro Station in the Compton neighborhood.
Both officers sustained shots to the head. Rushed to the hospital, they were out of surgery by Sunday morning and expected to recover. They are a 31-year-old female with a six year old son and a 24-year-old male, who were only sworn in as officers about 14 months ago.
Captured by a fish-eye lens, the main footage of the incident shows the shooter approaching the squad car from the passenger side.
Walking almost in the middle of the street, he turns left and, holding the pistol with both hands, points at the car and opens fire. He then runs off the way he came. The suspect was described as a “dark-skinned male.”

The female deputy that was shot in the jaw managed to call for help and apply a tourniquet to male deputy’s wounds…
Valor, Courage, Composure…
The WILL to WIN. This female deputy was able to put out the “Help Call” calmly & not panicked after a sick coward shot her & her partner in the face & head. I continue to pray for their recovery & the capture of the suspect.

In addition to blocking hospital emergency entrances/exits, agitators approached the guardhouse by the parking lot attempting to enter St. Francis hospital insisting it was a public location. St Francis is a private hospital.
They continued to harass police officers and shout obscenities at the officers (WARNING: VULGAR LANGUAGE)…
